Agrointel Analytics Private Limited and its affiliates (collectively "Agrointel", "we", "us", or "our") is an agri-tech company that utilizes technology-enabled systems to organize rural labour markets and deploy field execution crews to deliver intelligent solutions for farmers, agribusinesses, and rural and urban communities. We operate through a platform including our website, mobile application, and other designated communication channels such as WhatsApp and phone (collectively, the "Platform").
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information about anyone who interacts with us, whether you use our services, work with us, partner with us, or simply visit our Platform. This Policy is implemented in conjunction with the Terms of Use, and such other policy/document as available on bharatintelligence.ai, and the terms thereof are deemed to be included in this Policy by reference.
This Policy is issued in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act"), the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPDI Rules"), and all other applicable Indian laws relating to data protection and privacy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through our Platform, email, SMS, or WhatsApp, before those changes take effect. Continued engagement with Agrointel after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
Your privacy is important to us. We will use your personal information only in the manner set out in this Policy. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy.
This Policy applies to everyone who interacts with Agrointel in any capacity. "You" and "your" throughout this Policy refers to any individual whose personal data we process, including but not limited to:
We collect only the information we need to serve you and operate our business lawfully. This may include:
We collect basic identification and contact details such as your full name, photograph, age, gender, mobile number, email address, and residential or operational address. Where relevant to a service or legal requirement, we may also collect government-issued identity documents such as your Aadhaar number, PAN card number, voter ID, or other applicable identification.
Depending on how you engage with us, we may collect information relevant to that relationship. This includes details about the nature of work or services, skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, attendance, task or performance records, employment history, references, and any documentation reasonably required to manage the working relationship.
To facilitate payments, reimbursements, or billing, we collect financial details such as bank account numbers, IFSC codes, UPI IDs, and transactional records including invoices. Where payment is made through our Platform, we may work with payment processors who handle card or wallet information on our behalf under their own security standards.
Where relevant to the delivery of a service — for instance, to identify the site at which work is to be performed, or to track the progress of an active field assignment — we may collect geographic location data. This may include farm or site GPS coordinates, photographs of the premises, or real-time location during an active assignment. We collect location data only when necessary for operational purposes and with appropriate notice.
We collect records of your interactions with our services, including service requests, enquiries, quotations, bookings, task histories, and correspondence sent through or about our Platform. We also collect technical data generated automatically when you use our Platform, such as device model, operating system, IP address, browser type, session duration, pages viewed, and app usage patterns. This data helps us improve the Platform and maintain its security.
If you contact us, whether by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through our Platform, we may retain records of that communication, including call logs, chat transcripts, and any feedback, complaints, or instructions you share. We may also receive information about you from others in the course of delivering our services.
In certain cases, applicable law or regulatory requirements may oblige us to collect specific categories of information. This includes information required for tax filings, regulatory compliance, and insurance administration, or identity verification under government mandates.
Most of the information we hold about you comes from you directly, when you register on our Platform, place a service request, enter into a contract or agreement with us, provide documents for verification, contact our support team, or share feedback.
When you use our website or other application, certain technical and usage data is generated and collected automatically by our systems. This includes device and network information, session data, and interaction logs, as described in Section 3.5. This data is used to keep the Platform functioning and secure, perform our services, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
In some cases, we receive information about you from third parties in the ordinary course of our business. This may include information from payment processors, identity or background verification agencies, government systems (such as Aadhaar verification through UIDAI's authorised API), or other parties involved in delivering services alongside us. We only accept such information where we have a legitimate reason to do so and where the third party is authorised to share it.
